Trouble removing old jets
Permalink

I'd like to replace my jets with new LX jetface conversion kits (a j325 2004, new part #s: Kit includes one 2007+ LX Jet Part # 6541-470 and one Retainer Ring Part # 6541-471.) but first I need to remove the original jets which have lost their ball bearings but otherwise still work.  The conversion kit directions tell me to remove the whole jet body by turning it clockwise.  I can't turn it by hand - can I use a wrench? Clockwise seems like the wrong direction but that it what it tells me to do.  I just don't want to damage it to the point where I won't be able to remove the jet body.  Any suggestions?
