Removal of Waterway Poly Jet Body/Jet
Permalink

I have an older spa (installed in 1992 in a home I purchased) and have has to do some maintenance on. I noticed a leak coming from a jet body under the spa. From what I can see these are Waterway fittings and jets (Waterway 210-6040 with a thru the wall fitting like this... http://www.poolzoom.com/thru-wall-fitting.html). On the underside of the tub where the leak is coming from there is not threads or retaining ring, just a lot of silicone - so I assume it's being held in from the tub side. I have the proper Waterway wrench but an not 100% sure what the proper way to use it is.

Can anyone tell me exactly how I am supposed to remove the assembly to fix the leak?

Hello king,
Those pipes doesn't  seem that old.Barely 15 years. I am very poor when it comes to electrical or plumbing issues. I always call any hot tub , spa services for the maintenance work. Last month I had some problem with the draining of my spa. Ferrari pools, patios & spas (http://www.ferraripools.com ) is one such service which might help you out of this impasse. Best of luck.

If removal is from the tub side, it just unscrews out of the jet body behind it.
