Not sure where to post this, but have a Gulf Coast LX11000.
I was getting and error message P1 Er. When through the select/change on control panel, now getting a Sc Er, scan error.
I turned off the breaker at the house, waited an hour turned it back on, still getting the error, how do I get rid of the SC ER?
Is there a back up battery inside the Spa Control Pack, it will not reset.
Is there a way to go back to factory settings.
The control pad on the spa is not working since I got the SC ER.
This is the reset I did when I got the P1 error, now stuck on SC ER scan error
Spa Reset:
On the control pack in the top left, you will see an LED window, with 2 buttons Select and Change
Press and hold Select for 7 seconds until the LED appears LL 01
Press and release Change to scroll through the settings, bringing it back to LL 01
Press and release Select
The LED will appear BR 40
Press and release Select one more time
This will kick the tub into Scan mode (SC will appear). This will run a scan test over each component.
Figured it out. Left the breaker on, unplugged everything, one at a time and plugged them back in one at a time. Spa is reset and working perfect.
Good info to file away for future reference.
