I have a 2009 Emerald spa that a friend gave me in 2010. I bought a WaterWay pump/wet end to replace the existing "Flo master XP2E". When I replaced the pump, everything ran fine for almost 24 hours. The next day, the tub was empty. When I started filling it up, I saw the reason for the leak was that the wet end had separated from the pump (attached image, circled in yellow). Assuming, incorrectly, that this was just a one time problem, I replaced the wet end. Same thing happened.
I must be doing something really bad. Anybody have any ideas?
